Soccer Recap: North Valley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Despite a strong season so far, North Valley has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They lost 9-2 to the St. Mary's Crusaders on Saturday. While losing is never fun, North Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon soccer rankings (they are ranked 98th, while St. Mary's are ranked 32nd).

North Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for St. Mary's, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. North Valley will square off against rival Brookings-Harbor at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, St. Mary's is set to challenge their familiar foe Rogue River at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
