Riverbank fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 12-7 W against the Modesto Panthers. That's two games straight that the Bruins have won by exactly five points.

Riverbank's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Modesto, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, Riverbank will take on Lowell at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Modesto, they will welcome Hughson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Huskies' defense has only allowed 8.4 points per game this season, so the Panthers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
