Basketball Recap: Lowndes Academy Comes Up Short

Lowndes Academy lost against Hooper Academy on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rebels fell 47-34 to the Colts. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lowndes Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hooper Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Lowndes Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Edgewood Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rebels will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 57.6 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Hooper Academy, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Crenshaw Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
