Soccer Game Preview: Goshen vs. Concord

The Goshen RedHawks will take on the Concord Minutemen at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Goshen will be strutting in after a victory while Concord will be coming in after a defeat.

Goshen barely beat South Bend Adams the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The RedHawks never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for Goshen in their matchups with South Bend Adams: they've now won four in a row.

Goshen hit South Bend Adams with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nereida Arriaga, Kaycee Martinez, and Mia Winship.

Meanwhile, after soaring to nine goals the game before, Concord was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They lost 6-1 to Carroll. Concord haven't had much luck with Carroll recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Goshen now has a winning record of 7-6-1. As for Concord, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Goshen took their win against Concord when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 4-0 score. Do the RedHawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Minutemen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
