Volleyball Recap: Midview Comes Up Short

Midview lost against Avon back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Middies came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, 25-18.

When it comes to explaining why Midview lost, don't look at Dezirae Thomas. Despite the final result, she had 14 digs and one assist. Thomas has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Midview dropped their record down to 7-10 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Avon, the win keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.

Looking ahead, Midview will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Steele at 6:30 p.m. As for Avon, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Lake on the 27th.
