Volleyball Recap: St. Patrick-St. Vincent Comes Up Short

After flying high against Saint Mary's last Wednesday, St. Patrick-St. Vincent came back down to earth. St. Patrick-St. Vincent took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Swett Warriors on Friday. While the Bruins didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 25-18 in the first set.

St. Patrick-St. Vincent started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-22, 25-10, 25-21.

St. Patrick-St. Vincent's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Swett, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-11.

St. Patrick-St. Vincent has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Ben Holt College Prep Academy on the 29th. As for Swett, they will challenge Richmond at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
