Basketball Recap: Clifton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 90 points the game before, Clifton was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They took a blow against the Salado Eagles, falling 70-17. The Cubs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-8.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Gio Garcia and Alijah Calderon, who each put up four points.

Clifton now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Salado, the win (which was their fourth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Clifton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-43 defeat against Rogers on the 25th. As for Salado, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 48-43 victory against Gatesville on the 25th.
