There's no place like home for Granite Bay, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Del Oro Golden Eagles 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in March.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:three sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The final score came out to 25-17, 27-25, 24-26, 25-27, 15-9.

Granite Bay's record now sits at 18-15. As for Del Oro, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-13 record this season.
