Don Bosco Prep waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They blew past the Randolph Rams 10-2. The result was nothing new for the Ironmen, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Don Bosco Prep's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Randolph, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Don Bosco Prep will welcome St. Peter's Prep at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Ironmen 3, the Marauders 2.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Randolph, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Jefferson Township.
