Dickson County had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Springfield Yellow Jackets as they made off with a 70-45 victory. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Dickson County's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-5. As for Springfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-20 record this season.

Dickson County will take on Henry County on Tuesday. Dickson County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 games -- so hopefully Henry County likes a good challenge. Springfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
