Basketball Recap: Bennington Bulldogs vs. Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs
Bennington had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They enjoyed a cozy 51-37 win over the Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bennington to victory, but perhaps none more so than Thayne Trout, who went 5 for 10 en route to 15 points plus five assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Garrett, who earned ten points plus six rebounds and three steals.
