Baseball Recap: Grace Triumphs

Grace was not the first on the board on Monday, but they got there more often. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Heritage Christian Warriors, sneaking past 6-4.

Grace got a great performance from Dylan Molnar as he tossed 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. The Lancers are 3-1 when Molnar allows two or fewer earned runs, but 8-10-2 otherwise.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kyle Zahn, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Grace has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-11-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Heritage Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 18-8-1.

Grace does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Heritage Christian, they will take on Agoura at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
