Basketball Recap: Columbia Comes Up Short

Columbia lost against Triad back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Columbia Eagles took a 58-43 bruising from the Triad Knights. The Eagles have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Columbia's record is now 21-7. As for Triad, their win bumped their record up to 21-8.

Columbia and Triad should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. Columbia will take on Roxana at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday up 209 places (97 vs. 306). Similarly, Triad (ranked 63rd) will meet Mascoutah (ranked 458th) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
