Softball Recap: Raceland's Loss Ends Nine-Game Winning Streak at Home

Raceland faced Greenup County in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Rams lost 12-0 to the Musketeers. The match marked the first time this year in which the Rams were not able to get on the board.

Raceland's defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-4. As for Greenup County, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Raceland will head out to face off against Spring Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greenup County, they will venture away from home to challenge Rowan County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something the Musketeers surely won't give up without a fight.
