Softball Recap: Hancock Comes Up Short

After flying high against Forbes Road last Wednesday, Hancock came back down to earth. The Panthers lost 13-1 to the Southern Fulton Indians on Wednesday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Hancock saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayde Gaither, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Hancock's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Southern Fulton, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hancock will face off against Turkeyfoot Valley Area at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Southern Fulton, they will challenge Meyersdale at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
