Marmaton Valley won the last time they faced Southern Coffey County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wildcats walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Titans. The win was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-22.

Marmaton Valley's victory bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Southern Coffey County, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-19-1.

Coincidentally, Marmaton Valley and Southern Coffey County will both be playing Central Heights the next time they take the court. The Titans will host the Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
