Softball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Comes Up Short

Mt. Pleasant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 7-1 to the Fairfield Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, with their most recent loss being a 20-9 defeat two weeks ago.

Mt. Pleasant's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Fairfield, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Mt. Pleasant has already played their next contest, a 13-1 defeat against Van Buren County on the 14th. As for Fairfield, they will square off against Burlington at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
