The third road game was the charm for Oakwood, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Carlisle Indians on Friday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 9-5 victory last Thursday.

Nate Patterson was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Owen Hoersting, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-2-1. As for Carlisle, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oakwood will welcome Sidney at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Yellowjackets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.29 runs per game on average), something the Lumberjacks will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Carlisle, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Valley View at 5:00 p.m.
