Softball Recap: Spring Woods Takes a Loss

The Spring Woods Tigers lost 14-6 to the Milby Buffs on Tuesday.

Spring Woods saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nuruin Batres, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI. That's the most hits Batres has posted since back in February.

Spring Woods' defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Milby, their record is now 5-2.

Coincidentally, Spring Woods and Milby will both be playing Waltrip the next time they take the field. Milby will host Waltrip at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while Spring Woods will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on March 26th.
