St. Clairsville is 1-9 against Bellaire since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Red Devils will look to defend their home field against the Big Reds at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

St. Clairsville is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They lost 12-3 to Madonna.

Meanwhile, Bellaire suffered their biggest loss since May 6, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against Martins Ferry, falling 18-1. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Big Reds' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Bellaire saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emilee Menendez, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.

St. Clairsville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Bellaire, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.
