Soccer Game Preview: Tuloso-Midway vs. London

The Tuloso-Midway Warriors & Cherokees will face off against the London Pirates at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tuloso-Midway's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Tuloso-Midway will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal last Friday, then bounced right back against Ingleside on Tuesday. Tuloso-Midway sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over Ingleside. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Warriors & Cherokees' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, London had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They never let the Mustangs onto the board and left with an 11-0 victory. Malia Banks was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Tuloso-Midway's win bumped their record up to 2-0-1. As for London, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.
