Whitwell had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Lookout Valley Yellowjackets as they made off with a 15-1 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 9-2 win back in March.

Henrik Holloway looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Brayden Riley was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Colin Beason was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Whitwell always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lookout Valley only posted an OBP of .263.

Whitwell's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Lookout Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
