Basketball Recap: East Central Takes a Loss

East Central lost against McGregor back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The East Central Eagles took a 58-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McGregor Mercuries. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly five points.

East Central dropped their record down to 7-17 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for McGregor, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-13.

Looking ahead, East Central will face off against Moose Lake/Willow River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for McGregor, they will take on Cook County at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
