After a string of three wins, Lakeland's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the South Bend Adams Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Lakers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

MORGAN HEDGES paced Lakeland's offense, picking up seven kills. HEDGES got some help from ABRIANA SATTERFIELD and her 15 assists.

Lakeland's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for South Bend Adams, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Lakeland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Wawasee on the 25th. As for South Bend Adams, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Elkhart Christian Academy on the 25th.
