Basketball Recap: Mound City Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mid-Buchanan, Mound City was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They managed a 39-35 win over the Bishop LeBlond Eagles. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 48-34 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Mound City now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Bishop LeBlond, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Mound City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 65-40 win against North Andrew on the 9th. As for Bishop LeBlond, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-11 victory against St. Joseph Christian on the 10th.
