Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sumter Christian). They blew past the Maranatha Christian Bulldogs, posting an 81-48 victory. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Maranatha Christian saw an underclassman step up: freshman Brayden Murray posted 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Murray has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Landyn McInville, who had seven points.

Sumter Christian's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Maranatha Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Northside Christian School the next time they take the court. Maranatha Christian will host Northside Christian School at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Sumter Christian will head out to face them at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
