Volleyball Recap: Fort Osage Indians vs. Blue Springs Wildcats
Fort Osage and Blue Springs squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Fort Osage had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Wildcats. The Indians have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Alivia Saultz paced Fort Osage's offense, picking up five kills. Saultz got some help from Ryleigh Gage and her 13 assists.
Leading Blue Springs to victory were Tessa Stuart and AJ Johnson. Stuart had 19 assists and four digs, while Johnson had seven digs. Stuart is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 18 games she's played.
Fort Osage's defeat dropped their record down to 21-11-1. As for Blue Springs, their win bumped their record up to 15-18.
