Gunnison Valley suffers 11th straight loss on the road

Recap: Gunnison Valley Bulldogs vs. San Juan Broncos

The Gunnison Valley Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their sixth straight loss. They fell 48-36 to San Juan. Gunnison Valley has struggled against San Juan recently, as their match on Saturday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Linsi Hansen, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. Autumn Anderson was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with 12 rebounds and two steals.

Among those leading the charge was Synessa Atcitty, who scored 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Macee Palmer, who scored six points.

Gunnison Valley's loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 3-10. As for San Juan, their win bumped their record up to 3-9.

Gunnison Valley and North Sevier will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for San Juan, San Juan and North Summit will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. One thing working in North Summit's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matches.
