Basketball Recap: Zephyrhills Christian Academy Beats Seffner Christian for Their Fourth Straight Win

Zephyrhills Christian Academy proved they can win big last Monday (they won by 24) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged the Seffner Christian Crusaders out 67-64. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 134th, while the Crusaders are ranked 335th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leading Zephyrhills Christian Academy to victory were Sansao Wika and Jordani Blanc. Wika went 8 for 12 on his way to 20 points and eight rebounds, while Blanc went 8 of 11 on his way to 17 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Wika is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Perez, who posted five points along with seven boards and five steals.

Zephyrhills Christian Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
