Baseball Recap: Arcanum's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matchups, Arcanum finally came back down to earth on Friday. They lost 9-2 to the Russia Raiders. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Trojans have suffered since March 25, 2024.

The loss snapped Arcanum's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-4 record. As for Russia, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Arcanum and Russia will both be playing Fort Recovery the next time they take the field. The Raiders will host the Indians at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Trojans will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
