Volleyball Game Preview: Monterey Trail Mustangs vs. West Campus Warriors + How To Watch

The Monterey Trail Mustangs will head out on the road to face off against the West Campus Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Monterey Trail is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Franklin just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Wildcats.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-14, 16-25, 25-12.

Meanwhile, West Campus entered their tilt with Foothill on Wednesday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 3-0 victory.

West Campus never let Foothill on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-10, 26-24.

West Campus' win bumped their record up to 23-4. As for Monterey Trail, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.

Monterey Trail came up short against West Campus in their previous matchup back in September, falling 2-0. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
