Baseball Recap: Rice Lake Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Rice Lake's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Chippewa Falls Cardinals on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Warriors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Rice Lake saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Roux, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Rice Lake is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8. As for Chippewa Falls, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

While Rice Lake had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
