Softball Recap: Onekama Comes Up Short

Onekama lost to Glen Lake on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Portagers fell 6-3 to the Lakers. The Portagers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hailey Hart spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up 12 Ks.

Onekama's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Glen Lake, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Onekama will head out to challenge Hart at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Glen Lake, they will challenge Mason County Eastern at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
