Basketball Recap: Santiam Comes Up Short

Santiam came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Regis Rams, falling 90-69. The defeat continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Rams: they've now lost six in a row.

Santiam's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Regis, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Santiam wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-35 defeat against Western Christian on the 7th. As for Regis, they have also already played their next game, a 74-48 win against Colton on the 7th.
