Softball Recap: Colonial Comes Up Short

Colonial lost against Boone two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Grenadiers lost 16-2 to the Braves. The Grenadiers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Colonial saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Arielys Torres, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Colonial's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Boone, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Colonial will venture away from home to challenge Innovation at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Boone, they will be taking part in a tournament against Freedom at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Braves are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
