Baseball Game Preview: Woodlawn Warriors vs. Owings Mills Golden Eagles

The Woodlawn Warriors will square off against the Owings Mills Golden Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Woodlawn has given up an average of 12.6 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Woodlawn's offense. They came up short against Patapsco on Thursday, falling 12-0. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Owings Mills). Everything went their way against Milford Mill Academy on Wednesday as they made off with a 21-4 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Golden Eagles as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Woodlawn's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Owings Mills, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-6.
