It was a good run, but Rigby unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They came up short against the Hillcrest Knights, falling 23-11. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (ten), the Trojans still had to take the loss.

Addison Cox was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Avery Schofield, who scored three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Rigby's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Hillcrest, they now also have a winning record of 5-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rigby will welcome Thunder Ridge at 3:30 p.m. on the 15th. As for Hillcrest, they will host Idaho Falls at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
