Volleyball Recap: Culver Academies Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Culver Academies extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Barrett Brady. Culver Academies was the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over South Bend Adams on Tuesday thanks in part to Brady, who had five aces and four digs. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

While Culver Academies won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 28-26.

Culver Academies' victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for South Bend Adams, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.

Culver Academies and South Bend Adams should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings. The Eagles will challenge North Judson-San Pierre at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (127 vs. 259). Meanwhile, South Bend Adams (ranked 141st) will meet South Bend Washington (ranked 390th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
