After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Springboro, Springfield was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 48-38 victory over the Centerville Elks. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Elks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Springfield's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-2. As for Centerville, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Springfield is set to challenge their familiar foe Northmont at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Centerville will square off against rival Fairmont at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
