Brandon had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Lawrence County Red Devils.

Aubrey Dale paced Brandon's offense, picking up eight kills. Dale got some help from Mia Williams and her 19 assists. Finally, Dale was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

When it comes to explaining why Lawrence County lost, don't look at Reagan Smith. Despite the final result, she had 11 digs and two assists.

Brandon's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Lawrence County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Brandon has already played their next contest (against Enterprise), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lawrence County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Pell City on the 23rd.
