West Greene extended their winning streak to six on Monday, bumping them up to 9-3. Everything went their way against the Northview Academy Cougars as they made off with a 3-0 win. This was a revenge game for the Buffaloes: when they faced off against the Cougars back in August, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Cassidy Hill paced West Greene's offense, picking up 13 kills. Hill got some help from Baylee Lowe and her 18 assists. Lowe also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Journey Lamons, racking up two apiece.

As for Northview Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since October 15, 2024.

Defeat or not, Northview Academy got some senior leadership from Malori Williams and Sydney Cole. Williams had 18 digs and nine assists, while Cole had 18 digs and four assists. Those 18 digs set a new season-high mark for Williams.

West Greene wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Happy Valley on the 16th. As for Northview Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Alcoa on the 16th.
