Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Helena). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Benjamin Russell Wildcats 55-14 at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-7.

Nate Ferguson went supernova for Helena, rushing for 57 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, while also throwing for 101 yards and two touchdowns. Jeremy Spratling was another key player, rushing for 66 yards and two touchdowns.

Despite the loss, Benjamin Russell still got an impressive performance from Alijah Johnson, who rushed for 48 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 199 yards on 16 of 30 attempts. Those 48 rushing yards gave Johnson a new career-high. 82 of those passing yards were hauled in by Cederian Morgan.

The victory got Helena back to even at 3-3. As for Benjamin Russell, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
