Baseball Recap: Millbrook Takes a Loss

Millbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the James Wood Colonels. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Pioneers have suffered since March 25th.

Millbrook's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for James Wood, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Millbrook will face off against rival Sherando at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, James Wood is set to take on their familiar foe Handley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
