Basketball Recap: Carver Takes a Loss

Carver's last matchup with Creekside could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 78-55 to the Seminoles. The defeat was just more heartbreak for the Panthers, who fell 54-51 when the teams last met back in January of 2016.

Among those leading the charge was Daylen Jones, who posted 25 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in each of the last nine games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Jacorey Lee, who earned nine points.

Carver's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carver will welcome Kendrick at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Creekside, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Northview at 4:00 p.m.
