Basketball Game Preview: LaFayette Ramblers vs. Gilmer Bobcats

LaFayette hasn't had much luck against Gilmer recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The LaFayette Ramblers will host the Gilmer Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with LaFayette sitting on four straight wins and Gilmer on five.

LaFayette is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 84-17 victory over Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences. The Ramblers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 27 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Gilmer didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Calhoun on Friday, but they still walked away with a 59-55 win.

Gilmer's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for LaFayette, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.
