Volleyball Recap: Bishop Hendricken's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Bishop Hendricken had lost five games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 9-9 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top against the East Greenwich Avengers by a score of 3-1. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 19, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Santiago Harrington had an outrageously good game as he had 22 digs and one assist. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 10.3 digs per game.

Bishop Hendricken was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They are a perfect 3-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

As for East Greenwich, they now have a losing record of 8-9. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 19, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Despite the loss, East Greenwich still got an impressive performance from Zion Sun, who had ten digs and two aces. Sun is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last three games he's played.
