Frederick kept up with Mead until halftime on Tuesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Mavericks' defense stepped up to hand the Golden Eagles a 6-0 shutout. Mead might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by four goals or more this season.

They hit Frederick with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Katy Adler (3), Madelyn Wright, Lexi Van Dyke, and Camilla Gomez.

Mead's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those four games. As for Frederick, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mead will venture away from home to take on Roaring Fork at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Frederick, they will head out to face off against Silver Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
