Vestavia Hills came tearing into Wednesday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Thompson Warriors 78-59. Given the Rebels' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked second, while the Warriors are ranked 97th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
