Football Recap: Monroe Falls to Rogue River in First Game of Season

Monroe kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by the Rogue River Chieftains 52-0. The Dragons lost against the Chieftains in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 13-0 score last time.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monroe will host Santiam at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rogue River, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Glide at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
