Basketball Recap: Reagan Comes Up Short

Reagan lost against Varela back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Reagan Bison might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Varela Vipers an easy 40-16 victory.

Reagan's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Varela, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-2.

Reagan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 27-20 victory against South Miami on the 18th. Varela has also already played their next game, a 38-27 win against Coral Reef on the 18th.
